Pictures from our first club event for the year at Strathpine Ten Pin Bowl Centre.  Thankyou to Bronwyn for all her work in organising this event.  It was an overwhelming positive response from all those families who came along and joined in for the afternoon and they can’t wait for the next event!  Congratulations to Jeff Cornwell, Andrew Steger, Jayden Beverley and Bailie Stirling for their winning (or not so much) efforts on the day.   The winner of the Raffle for the day was the Prasad family from our U8s.

Rep players from our U14 Team

 
Congratulations to the following players who have been selected in BNJCA U14 Representative Teams.
 
Samuel Cousar was selected in the Brisbane North Under 14 Championship team to play in the State Championships in Mackay 12-16 December 11. Great effort Sam you certainly deserve to be there considering the amount of runs you have scored in the past 12 months.
 
Adam Faulkner and Sam Cousar were both selected in the "Dolphins" U14 Team to play in the Anstey-La Franz Shield. Adam performed well at the trials and looked very sharp bowling.
 
Bad luck to Chris Brittain who missed out in gaining selection in the BNJCA U14 rep teams but must have gone very very close. I know Chris is disappointed but Chris give them every reason to see they made a mistake by performing well again this season.
 
Unfortunately Nick Power (who played in the u12 BNJCA rep team last year) was unable to trial for the BNJCA Under 13's due to illness and injury.
 
I know the players selected will do our small club proud as did the boys who also trialled

Muster Day

Winner of the Father's Day/ Sign On Raffle (AEG Workmans Radio, 25m extension lead, beer mug and BHLL club cap), drawn 27th August, being Nick Power.
