Game 2 saw the Under 10’s notch up their first win, 174 versus Toombul Blue 118. The team was especially strong in the field keeping the runs between wickets to a minimum and bowling some excellent overs including a maiden from Sean Bracken. Special mentions this week go to Lucy Dymock-Pettigrew (one of our three girls in the team) who picked up 2 for 11 off 3 overs, Aiden Faulkner who took a screamer of a catch at long-on, and Jesse Bates who top scored with 30 and was tireless in his stint at wicket keeper. Overall it was an excellent team effort by all players which led to a great game of cricket.
